[Dashboards](https://support.encorepro.com/dashboards?hsLang=en) # Filtering and Exploring Dashboards ## Narrow any dashboard to the venue, show, or ticket type you care about, or click straight on a chart to dig in. ### Two ways to filter You can filter a dashboard from the filters at the top of the page, or by clicking directly on a chart. Both apply to every chart on the dashboard at once, so the whole page tells the same story.   ### Filters at the top The filters sit across the top of the dashboard. Pick a value and every chart updates. Choose the Lyric Theatre in the venue filter, and every chart shows only sales for the Lyric Theatre. Which filters you see depends on how the dashboard's owner set it up. Common ones are date range, venue, show, and ticket type. If a filter you expect is missing, ask the owner. Anyone with edit access can add it. See Custom Dashboards. The dashboard opens with the owner's default filters already applied, so check the date range before you read the numbers.   ### Filter by clicking on a chart Want to dig into your Adult and Standard ticket sales? Click them on the chart. Every other chart on the dashboard narrows to that selection. - **Click** to add to your selection. - **Command-click** (Mac) or **Control-click** (Windows) to replace your selection with the one you clicked.   ### Filters and scoping Filters work inside whatever you're allowed to see. If your account is limited to certain shows, filters and chart clicks only narrow those shows further. They never show you anything outside your access.
