The mobile ticket, explained
The mobile ticket is the link every customer gets — their QR code to get through the door, and a home for everything else they need for the visit. This is what's on it and how the tabs work. The feature articles in this section each cover one tab.
The default view
When a customer taps their link, they land on their Ticket — the QR code that scans at the door. That's always there. Around it, tabs appear only when they're relevant, so a customer never sees an empty section:
- Ticket — the QR code. The default tab, always present.
- Order — appears when an open menu is attached to the performance, so the customer can pre-order. See Add menus to an event.
- Map — appears automatically when the venue has an address. Tapping it opens the customer's maps app with a route to you.
- FAQs — appears when FAQs are set up for that performance. See Set up the FAQs tab.
Beyond the defaults, these tabs turn the mobile ticket into the one link a customer needs for the whole visit. Each is its own article:
- Donations — take a card donation from the ticket. Set up donations
- Membership — show a digital membership card, or pitch membership to non-members. Set up digital memberships
- Related tickets — surface other things they've booked that day (ice cream, a post-show talk) on the same link. Show related tickets
- Live chat — let customers message your team from the ticket. Add live chat
- Custom tabs — link out to anything: a What's On page, an access page, a playlist. Add a custom tab
You can also brand the whole thing to your venue (Brand your mobile ticket) and let customers save it to Apple or Google Wallet (Add tickets to Apple & Google Wallet).
